Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the Taagui platform processes the personal data of visitors and buyers of the event sites it hosts. It applies to the operation of the platform; the Event whose site you are visiting may have its own service practices outside this environment.

Who processes your data

Taagui provides the technology that allows the Event to run its site, receive Orders, issue Registrations, operate Accreditation and process Refund requests. As a rule, the Event is responsible for deciding which data it collects from its buyers, and Taagui acts as the platform provider that carries out this processing.

Data we collect

• Sign-up and access: your name and phone number, used to identify you and to give you access to your account through a verification code (OTP) sent to your phone.
• Orders: the tickets purchased, quantity, amounts and the history of payments, refunds and registrations generated.
• Accreditation: the records of who's attending, attendance and validation of Registrations at the Event.
• Refunds: the information needed to track and complete the return of amounts paid.
• Prize draws: the drawing of prizes based on the Edition's accredited Registrations.
• Contacts with Sponsors: the snapshot of name, email, phone and company recorded when you show your Registration QR to a Sponsor.
• Technical data: information generated automatically while you browse, such as the session cookies needed to keep you logged in.

How we use your data

• Authenticate your access and keep your session active.
• Process Orders, issue Registrations and keep the operation history.
• Operate Accreditation and provide credentials to attendees.
• Request and track Refunds when applicable.
• Determine participation in and results of prize draws.
• Record the attendee's snapshot when the Registration QR is shown to a Sponsor.
• Provide support and comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

Legal basis

Processing relies, as applicable, on the performance of a contract and of preliminary procedures at your request (Orders and Registrations), on compliance with a legal obligation and on legitimate interest, always within the limits of Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law No. 13,709/2018).

Sharing with third parties

Payments are processed by Mercado Pago, which receives the data needed to process the charge and any refunds. Your card details are tokenized directly in your browser and never pass through or are stored on our servers. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the platform and comply with the law.

Sharing with Sponsors

If you show your Registration QR to a Sponsor, the platform records for that Sponsor a snapshot of your name, email, phone and company. The sharing happens when the QR is scanned.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for the site to work, especially to keep you logged in while you browse. Without them, features such as your account and checkout don't work.

Your rights

Under the LGPD, you may request confirmation that processing exists, as well as access, correction, anonymization, portability and deletion of your data, and you may withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us through the channels below.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as needed for the purposes of this Policy and to comply with legal obligations. Order and payment records may be kept for the periods required by law.

Security

We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access and against loss, alteration or destruction.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the current version, and we recommend reviewing it periodically.
